Home Owner Orientation
If you are a seasoned remodeling veteran, you already know what to expect. If you have not lived through a remodeling project, you probably have some degree of anxiety. We don't want to create apprehension before your project starts, but rather point out some challenges that natually occur in the course of most remodeling projects.

Your normal routine will be disrupted.  The All Phase Remodeling & Mechanicals team will do our utmost to make the experience as pleasant as possible, but there will be times when your daily routine will be disrupted just by having workmen around your home. Here are some suggestions (of course you can do whatever you'd like):
  • Remember to budget some extra money for rest and relaxation.
  • Take a few day trips to get away.
  • Go to dinner or visit a friend in the evening.
  • And at least once a day, think how great everythingwill look when it's all done!

Dust. No matter how well we seal off the work area, dust is going to get through. this is more of the unpleasant but unavoidable apsects of remodeling. All Phase Remodeling & Mechanicals is known for keeping our work areas clean and as dust-free as possible and will do everything we can to ensure your comfort.

Overages. Most remodeling projects do cost more than the original contract price. This is caused by several factors including; unforseen conditions like decayed framing, hidden pipes or wires, etc...
Other causes include changes in the design plan, upgrades or additional work requested by the homeowner. Given our level of experience, we normally anticipate many problems ahead of time, and do our best to factor these into our price.
However, despite our best efforts to control costs, our clients typically spend between 5-15% more than the original contract amount. Therefore we recommend that you have this amount in additional funds set aside to afford you the flexibility to make changes and upgrades as you see fit as the job progresses and to allow for unforseen costs.
It is important to note that All Phase Remodeling & Mechanicals, Inc. will not charge more than the original contract amount unless we do additional work or incur additional costs beyond what is stated in our contracts.
